Ghana Christiansborg and Ghana Cape Coast Stakes Joint YSA Activity

It is that one name tag that could be a whole lot of fun - Young Single Adult (YSA), though efforts to strip it off no less than priority. The search for Cinderella or Prince Charming could also be a daunting feat. That is where YSA activities come in to brew friendships and ultimately kick start the journey to the Celestial Room.

With a similar purpose, YSAs in Christiansborg and Cape Coast Stake came together on Friday 30th June at the Christiansborg Stake Centre.

Starting out in the temple, the one place where all YSAs fervently hope to be sealed for time and all eternity to that special person. YSAs partook in the sacred ordinances of the temple. The Spirit was felt and hearts were renewed.

Proceeding to an afternoon devotional right after, YSAs were addressed by President Dennis Ocansey (Christiansborg Stake President) and Elder and Sister Pierce, senior YSA missionaries. The importance of higher education, self-reliance, physical health and temple marriage were reiterated. Our purpose and direction as YSAs has never been more apparent.

The date sealed off with an awesome dinner at Christiansborg Ward later in the evening. With great food, lovely games, great dances, great people, we certainly knew the joy of having fun the Lord's way.

As to whether YSAs in Christiansborg and Cape Coast Stake will be dropping their YSA tags anytime soon because that wonderful person has been finally been found, we live to tell!
