Special Stake Conference Broadcast on Sunday, November 18, 2018.

We encourage each member of the Church to prepare spiritually for the special conference and to take at least one other person with them to be edified and encouraged in their faith.

President M. Russell Ballard (acting President of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles) has invited all members of the Church in the stakes, districts, and missions of the Africa West Area to attend a special stake conference broadcast on Sunday, November 18, 2018.   Members of the First Presidency and of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will speak to us. We will also listen to other General Authorities and General Auxiliary Leaders of the Church.

Sacrament meeting and the other regularly scheduled Sunday block meetings will not be held on November 18, 2018.  We warmly invite all the members of the Church and their family and friends to attend this special stake conference broadcast in their stake or district center, or in the closest meeting house equipped with a satellite receiver. 

Note: If a Church unit is so remote that the members cannot attend or travel to where they can watch or listen to the stake conference broadcast, the regularly scheduled Church leaders should be held.      

There will be no priesthood leadership or Saturday evening sessions for this conference.

Stake and district presidents are to plan, prepare, and conduct the conference session according to the schedule and program provided below:

For Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Mali, and Senegal
