On 17-19 February 2024, Elder David A. Bednar, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Elder Patrick Kearon, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and Elder Carlos A. Godoy, a member of the Presidency of the Seventy, of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, visited the country of Nigeria. The Church leaders met with area leaders, missionaries, young single adults, members of the Church, and inter-faith leaders during their three-day visit.
On 17 February 2024, Young Single Adults (YSA) from throughout Nigeria gathered at Lagos Nigeria Ikeja Stake Center for a special devotional with Elder David A. Bednar, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Elder Patrick Kearon, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and Elder Carlos A. Godoy, a member of the Presidency of the Seventy.
The 2024 youth theme, “I am a disciple of Jesus Christ” (3 Nephi 5:13), is the focus of a Worldwide Discussion Event for Youth on discipleship on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
