The Young Single Adults of the Ofankor Stake had the privilege of attending a YSA Devotional on Sunday, March 24 hosted by their Stake Presidency.
The afternoon began with a scrumptious lunch. Devotional was divided into three parts. It began with “one on one” time. Meaning that the YSA would have the opportunity to spend 10 minutes speaking one on one with their leaders about anything that may have to weigh on their minds.
Following One on One time, the group was divided into gender groups (Male and Female). The women congregated to visit with Relief Society presidents from the Stake to hear of their dating, courting and marriage experiences. The YSA had many questions and enjoyed the opportunity to have a candid conversation with these Relief Society sisters. The YSA brothers visited with the Stake Presidency about the importance and need of pursuing good works and marriage.
The third and final part of the evening brought all the YSA back together. The conversation centered on Faith. Several couples from the stake spoke of their personal stories and the struggles and blessings of beginning a married life together and a family with little more than Faith.
The YSA left with uplifted hearts and renewed spirits and greater love and appreciation for their leader's roles, lives and desire to live by Faith.
